What You Can Send Us

A complete drawing package is useful, but an initial review can also start with a sample or reference assembly. Share the information you have and identify anything that still needs to be defined:

  • 01

    2D Drawing

    2D drawings

  • 02

    STEP / CAD

    STEP or other CAD files

  • 03

    BOM

Bill of materials (BOM) and assembly information

  • 04

    Physical Sample / Reference Assembly

    Physical sample or reference product

  • Material specification and required surface finish
  • Critical dimensions, tolerances, and mating interfaces
  • Estimated quantity and inspection requirements

Please identify the current drawing revision and note which documents belong together. That helps keep a prototype or production review aligned with the design you want manufactured.

02 // MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES

Manufacturing Capabilities

RYMAR workshop — sheet metal laser cutting.

A finished marine component or assembly may need several processes. RYMAR coordinates the selected route from component production through finishing, assembly and inspection, according to your geometry, material, quantity, fit and finish requirements.

Primary Capabilities

  • Investment Casting

    Selected cast component forms.

  • CNC Machining

    Machined features and components.

  • Fabrication & Welding

Fabricated bodies, structures and marine mechanisms.

  • Assembly

Components fitted into the specified assembly.

Supporting Processes & Components

  • Laser Cutting
  • Sheet Metal
  • Bending
  • Pins / Shafts / Bushings / Rollers
  • Polishing
  • Surface Finishing
  • Inspection

Process selection and inspection requirements are agreed for each project.

03 // MARINE APPLICATIONS

Typical Marine Projects

These examples show the kinds of marine hardware and mechanisms that can start from an existing design. They are project types, not a limit on the components we can review.

04 // FROM DRAWING TO PRODUCTION

From Drawing to Production

A practical route, adjusted to your design maturity and agreed project scope.

  1. Drawing Review

Review drawings, CAD, BOM and revisions to understand the part and its intended use.

  2. Feasibility / DFM Review

Discuss material, processes, critical dimensions, interfaces, finish, quantity and proposed changes before manufacturing.

  3. Prototype / First Article

Where appropriate, check fit, finish and manufacturing details using a prototype or first article.

  4. Inspection

Check parts against the drawing and agreed material and dimensional inspection requirements.

  5. Assembly

Fit components together and review the assembly when the project requires it.

  6. Production

Move into the planned production quantity after the agreed review steps.

05 // QUALITY CONTROL

Quality Control

Inspection follows the drawing and project requirements.

  • Material Verification

Stainless material grade is verified using an OES spectrometer where required.

  • Dimensional Inspection

Critical dimensions and tolerances are inspected against the drawing.

  • Surface Finish Inspection

Polished and mirror finishes are inspected for visual quality and finish consistency.

  • Salt Spray Testing

Salt spray testing is available where specified by the project or customer.

06 // PROJECT REVIEW

What Helps Us Review Your Project

For an initial review, send the drawing or CAD file, preferred material, required finish, estimated quantity, and target marine application. Mark critical dimensions, assembly interfaces, and any inspection or test requirements. If you have a sample, photos and notes explaining what should match or change can also help.

Tell us whether you are seeking a prototype, a first article, a small batch, or repeat production. If some requirements are still open, identify them so they can be discussed during feasibility review instead of being treated as approved specifications.
